We have two new features available that had formerly only existed in the 420chan Firefox Extension. Quick Reply, which allows you to write a reply to a thread or user without scrolling all the way back to the top of a page, and Hide Thread, so you can obscure threads that you no longer wish to see.

Why build these in directly? The extension (and related scripts) stopped working due to markup changes and ongoing updates to HTML5 compatibility. I am not the original author or maintainer of them, so this is our best alternative. In addition, it allows other browsers and platforms to take advantage of the functionality.

We were recently granted a license to operate several 512 slot TeamSpeak servers, and as they’ve been getting decent use from /wooo/ doing various weekly podcasts, we’d like to let the rest of you know our TeamSpeak exists!

It formerly resided on a crash-prone system, but its popular enough that we want to ensure its constant reliability. Thus, it’s been moved to one of our main servers.

It’s open 24/7 and is there for any and all to come, socialize, and have fun. Point your TeamSpeak 3 client, which you can download here, to 420chan.org port 9987.
